Head Coach CJ Hanna

Originally from Arizona, Coach Hanna has been coaching varsity athletics for 16 years. In Arizona, he coached at Ironwood and Sunrise Mountain High School where he was the Varsity Quarterbacks Coach, Special Teams Coordinator and Head JV Coach/Offensive Coordinator. In all of his seasons coaching in Arizona, his teams made the post season and he saw many of his Quarterbacks move on to play in college. While in Denver, Coach Hanna has spent time coaching both football and basketball. He spent one season as the Quarterbacks Coach and Special Team Coordinator at Abraham Lincoln High School before becoming Head Basketball Coach at Bruce Randolph High School. He spent 3 seasons coaching basketball and made it to the State playoffs during his first year taking over the program. He then spent the last four seasons as the head coach at Denver North.  He believes that football is a tool to help student athletes learn life-long skills that will help them beyond the football field. Coach Hanna is a passionate educator and coach. He has been a Special Educator for 10 years and spent the last 3 years as a Dean. Coach Hanna is married to his incredible wife and educator, Amanda.
