Coach Gillette is originally from Tampa, Florida, and now resides in Westminster with his partner MyLe and two dogs, Molly and Tallulah. Coach Gillette teaches IB Psychology, US History, and Physical Education at Westminster High School . Coach Gillette has a unique sports background that consists of competitive sailing, soccer, and ultimate frisbee. His coaching journey began while teaching at a middle school in central Florida. During this time, he coached the school’s boys’ soccer team and the girls’ basketball team. Coach Gillette earned his bachelor’s degree in criminology, and minor in economics from the University of South Florida in 2013. He received his MBA in healthcare administration from Saint Leo University in 2019. Coach Gillette has been coaching soccer for six years, and cross country for two years. Coach Gillette prides himself on creating a family environment and instilling a high work ethic amongst his players.
